Application cases of photovoltaic EVA membrane in rooftop distributed power stations

As the core material for photovoltaic module packaging, EVA film plays an important role in rooftop distributed power stations. The following are some typical applications.

In the industrial building rooftop power station project, an automobile manufacturing company used the roof of the workshop to build a 10-megawatt distributed photovoltaic power station. It used components encapsulated with high light transmittance EVA film to effectively improve power generation efficiency. The excellent bonding performance of the EVA film ensures long-term stable operation of the module in harsh outdoor environments. After five years of operation, the power attenuation rate of the module has been controlled within 5%, bringing stable power generation income to the owner.

In terms of commercial building roof applications, a 2-MW photovoltaic system was installed on the roof of a large shopping mall. The EVA membrane with good resistance to potential induced attenuation was used to successfully solve the problem of component power reduction in hot and humid environments and ensure the return on investment cycle.

In rural household rooftop power stations, the good weather resistance of EVA membrane plays a key role. A certain village has installed rooftop photovoltaics in a centralized manner, with a total installed capacity of 500 kilowatts. The low water vapor transmission rate of the EVA film effectively prevents corrosion of the internal circuits of the components, prolongs the service life, and allows farmers to obtain long-term and stable electricity sales income.

On residential roofs, the lightweight properties of EVA membranes combined with high-efficiency components reduce the load-bearing requirements on the roof structure. A certain villa project uses black components encapsulated with EVA film, which not only meets the power generation needs but also takes into account the aesthetics of the building.

These cases show that EVA film has been widely used in various rooftop distributed power stations due to its high light transmittance, good adhesion, excellent weather resistance and low water vapor transmittance. It provides a reliable guarantee for the long-term stable operation of the power station and effectively promotes the healthy development of the rooftop photovoltaic industry.
