Cases of distributed power stations using photovoltaic EVA hot melt adhesive films are very common in the photovoltaic industry. EVA hot melt adhesive film is a packaging material made of ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer. It has excellent light transmittance, adhesion and weather resistance. It is one of the core auxiliary materials in the photovoltaic module packaging process.

In the field of industrial rooftop distributed power stations, a project in an industrial park with an installed capacity of about two megawatts uses highly transparent EVA film-encapsulated components. After five years of operation, the power attenuation was controlled within 10%. The film did not suffer from yellowing, delamination or other problems, and the power generation efficiency remained stable, verifying the reliability of the material in long-term outdoor environments.

Regarding commercial building rooftop power stations, a commercial complex project used EVA hot-melt adhesive membrane modules that are resistant to potential-induced attenuation, which effectively suppressed leakage current problems under high-temperature and high-humidity climate conditions. The annual power generation increased by about 3% compared with expectations, and the investment payback period was significantly shortened, bringing good economic returns to the owners.

In rural household distributed systems, EVA film relies on its mature production technology and stable packaging performance to ensure that components can continue to operate for more than 25 years in environments with large temperature differences between day and night and strong ultraviolet radiation. It has been widely recognized by installers and end users.

Taken together, EVA hot melt adhesive film has been widely used in various distributed power stations due to its excellent optical properties, bonding strength, electrical insulation performance and reasonable cost advantages, providing strong support for long-term stable power generation of photovoltaic systems.
