both are modern general-purpose plastic packaging films, and both have the characteristics of softness, high transparency, and good heat sealability.

the differences between eva film and pvc film:
1. eva has a small density (0.923g/cm3)
pvc has a high density (1.3g/cm3);
2. eva is very soft without adding plasticizers. this is one of its major characteristics. it can be formed without adding any additives during production and processing. eva itself is an environmentally friendly and non-toxic material, so general eva films are environmentally friendly. it is non-toxic and will decompose on its own within three years if placed underground.
pvc is easy to decompose when heated. stabilizers and different amounts of plasticizers must be added during processing. common plasticizers contain harmful substances such as dop and dos and cannot decompose by themselves. (although there are environmentally friendly and non-toxic plasticizers, to be precise, they can only be low-toxic products).
3. eva has good impact resistance, and its impact resistance at low temperatures is significantly higher than that of pvc. the embrittlement temperature of eva is about -100°c.
pvc film containing 30% plasticizer hardens at 0°c and has extremely poor tensile strength and impact resistance.
